You have a business idea that won't leave you alone. And something keeps getting in the way.
Not the idea. Not the ability. Something quieter than that. The doubt that shows up right before you move. The overthinking that replaces action. The waiting (for clarity, for confidence, for the right moment) that keeps the business in your head instead of in the world.
I know that place. I lived there for years.
Tea-lover, mom of three, and the woman who spent years circling the exact thing you're trying to build.
The idea for Defy Doubt came to me after my mom passed away in 2016. It wasn't a business plan. It was a pull, something about doubt, courage, identity, and the way women can lose pieces of themselves while still looking completely fine from the outside.
But having the idea and building it are not the same.
For years, it stayed mostly in my head.
Then, when I finally carved out real time for it, I spent two more years adjusting the message, rethinking the direction, and waiting to feel ready.
I had vision, I had ability, I could build the website, work the strategy, create structure, refine messaging. But I still wasn’t moving the way I wanted to.
I kept circling. I told myself I didn’t know enough people, I was afraid of rejection, afraid of being seen as a beginner at my age, afraid of what it would mean if I actually tried and it didn’t work.
That was the hardest part to admit. I had so many of the pieces, but I was too close to my own block to see the way through it.
I hired a coach.
Not because I needed someone to give me a dream. I already had one. I needed outside perspective, someone who could see clearly what I couldn't see from inside the loop.
That changed everything. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But the idea started becoming real. And once momentum started, I understood something I hadn't before.
🗝️ You don't think your way into momentum. You move your way into it.
🗝️ Clarity doesn't always come before action. Often action creates the clarity.
🗝️ Self-trust doesn't come from waiting until you feel ready. It comes from watching yourself follow through.
That’s what I learned.
And it’s what I bring into every conversation I have now.

I work with women who are starting or rebuilding a business, and want to turn the idea into real momentum.
You have the vision. You believe in it. But you might be stuck in the exact place I know well: circling the direction, rethinking the offer, waiting for confidence, trying to make everything make sense before you move.
I bring strategy and coaching together, because often we need both. We need the business to get clearer, and we need support moving through the doubt that keeps interrupting the work.
